Privacy notice

Last updated: 15 August 2026. This notice describes how Hangar processes personal data when providing its managed AI-agent hosting service.

Controller and processor roles

For account, billing, and service-administration data, Hangar acts as controller. For customer content and personal data processed by an agent on a customer’s instruction, Hangar acts as processor. The customer remains the controller for that content.

Categories and purposes

We process account identifiers, contact details, billing records, service configuration, connection metadata, and content that a customer intentionally provides to an agent. This supports account administration, hosting, security, support, and legal obligations.

Legal bases

Processing is based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, consent where required, and legal obligations where applicable.

International transfers and residency

Customer workloads are hosted in europe-west1. If a customer-enabled integration requires a transfer outside the EEA, it is subject to an appropriate transfer mechanism and documented safeguards.

Data-subject rights

Individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing where applicable. Contact privacy@hangar.example. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Retention and security

We retain data only as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Customer content follows customer configuration and deletion instructions. Hangar uses encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and operational safeguards. Customer data is not used to train Hangar models.
